Falling Actions

During the summer Byron Pitts interned at WTVD in North Carolina. After graduation, Byron was at a handful of television stations on the east coast. In the years of 1983-84, he reported and served as weekend sports anchor at WNCTV. After WNCTV he stayed at WAVY-TV for two years and was a military reporter. He soon moved to WESH-TV (orlando) for another two years. After WESH-TV he moved to three other stations and then captured his dream job. He got on CBS News.  Pitts then moved to Washington, D.C. as a correspondent for CBS NEWSPATH, the 24-hour affiliate news service of CBS News
